The location of the school was chosen in the village of Bel-Safura in appreciation and in appreciation of the role of science. The village is known as the village of science and scholars, and it includes the second oldest Azhari institute in Egypt dating back to 1856 in which Sheikh Mustafa Al-Maraghi, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Mohamed Sayed Tantawi, also Sheikh of Al-Azhar, the reader Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi and Dr. Al-Nabawi, the engineer, the former Minister of Health, and this village is the birthplace of the pioneer of journalism in Egypt, Sheikh Ali Yusuf Pasha, founder of the “Al-Moayad” newspaper during the reign of Khedive Abbas Helmy II, where he was born in 1863.
